This is the new thread where we'll be gathering our Run Requests to gather kinmates for doing group content!

Please post specific Run Requests here. Then I or another officer will create an EVENT where anyone who wants to help/participate can sign up!

Please note that that kinship group content is for everybody, even if you aren't experienced. In fact, this would be the perfect opportunity to learn in a safe and friendly environment. :)

Example Run Requests:
"I'm new to tanking, and would like to have some practice tanking. Will anyone join me for some low level runs on Tuesday night at 9 servertime? Please bring characters who are around level 30-35."
Sign-ups for Great Barrow, early skirms, perhaps Garth Agarwen. Encourage heals and DPS to sign-up.

"I really really want a cosmetic item that drops in Isengard instances. Anyone interested in joining me? Any evening next week will do. Must be 75+"
Decide on an agreeable day/time in the thread. Sign-ups for level 75 RoI instances (must have access to that content).

"I have never been able to figure out Fellowship Maneuvers. Would anyone be interested in helping me practice them, and showing me how they work? I'm level 50. I don't care what content we practice on. Is Sunday afternoon servertime okay?"
Sign-ups for Sunday afternoon, level 45-50 (no higher levels so things don't die too fast for maneuvers). Burglars encouraged.

With that said, has a designated thread already been created for requests? I ask because I really want to kick Terror's butt in the Halls of Night this spooky season, but so far Terror's just been handing my own butt right back to me. This measly hunter needs help!

Our first request is in! What day/time would work best for you, Zhynna? :)

Woo hoo! Nightmare...we're coming to get you. *cracks knuckles and ties red shred of fabric around forehead*

Halls of Night
3 folks required
Level 70-ish

I think there might be some strategy to taking out the big baddies 'cause I have had no luck so if anyone has run this before, well I could use your expertise and insight.

Any time this weekend would be great, but since that's such late notice I am willing and able to run on any evening this week, preferably before the cool late week stuff starts happening. You know, Deeding Wednesday, Party Thursday, and can't forget Horrorfest on Friday! >:)

Hearty late night gamer folk may be open to running this after these events, which I, too, would be open to if necessary.

Any takers? If so, let's see when ya'll might be available to face your fears and we can determine the best time.

I'm interested in any group activity that'll give me a chance to learn how to be a healer in a group. I've managed to get to level 100 as a minstrel without ever having to heal anyone but myself! (How sad is that?) I mean, I don't even have any practice in using any stance but War-Speech, let alone things like managing aggro and monitoring everyone's healing. So I probably should have my first experiences either as "off healer" in a large group, or in instances way below my level, or with people who feel like going in and dying while I figure it out! (In fact, even my main, a level 100 hunter, has only been in OD twice, and never anything else on-level in a group of more than three.)

I don't have any specific instances I want to run. Instead, for now, I want to tag along with other people's requests and try to be the healer.

That said, time may be hard to come by right now. I'm often around enough for parties and chat and crafting and dailies, but not quite for something as focus-intensive as having people count on me. That's because I'm working on learning some things towards getting a better job.

Hi Sageflower,

Tiflo is in the same situation, a healer who's never healed. So I totally understand and I recently became a active altaholic. Any time you want to team up with Giflo just let me know. He's still in his teens, but I found having someone to target, just to get use to the buttons has been helpful to me.

I'd like to heal too! I used to be a good healer on Dwarrowdelf A LOOOOOONG time ago before the many changes have occurred. I'm almost level 30 and I'm not sure what's available around that level. I also have an alt named Dagnur who is a guardian, but a 2H guardian that is a big oaf when it comes to tanking (he says it's too stressful), but maybe he could be useful in other ways if anyone wanted him to tag along.

anyway, we are always up for some mischief.

This is giving me the image of a bunch of hobbits running around some dragon and everyone's healing each other and no one's bothering to attack the dragon! :D

Needs:

1) 2 players need healing experience at level 100.

2) 1 player needs healing experience at level 30.

Neado, we have lots of kinnies around level 30, so that should be easy to arrange! Ask in hobbits chat sometime if someone's interested in taking you into a skirmish and letting you practice on them. :) If I'm around when you ask, I'd be happy to do it.

Level 100 is a bit more difficult to get good practice, since challenge (ability to get hurt, need heals) is a bit more skewed at that level. We'll probably want to get a nice, difficult 3- or 6-man together for that. Perhaps a 6-man, with both Sage and Tiflo on heals so they can support each other? Would you two be interested in trying to schedule something?

If we can decide on a date/time to try for, I can set up an official Group Run event and make people sign up for it. ;)

I'm interested. But if scheduling becomes tricky I may become the hard one to fit due to the "working to get a new job" thing I mentioned and don't want to hold everyone else back if that happens. So give me a try but don't let it stop you if I have to bow out!

The Tomb of Elendil
6-man instance
Lvl 35-45ish
Saturday Nov 22th by 8pm servertime.

Bolddo, my hunter, needs to do The Tomb of Elendil, a 6-man instance lvl 40 in Evendim.

There's a quest chain that gives you access to the instance but it isn't required to allow you to enter in the tomb if you aren't the leader of the fellowship. It's a fun instance and if you do the quests you'll help Aragorn to reforge Narsil. :)

I've got two characters who still need to do that, but they're both at or near level cap, way outlevel for the content. Think I should bring one along anyway?

Since Brabbo specified level 35-45ish, I assume this particular run at Tomb of Elendil should be close to on-level. But we could TOTALLY have another "completion" run right afterward (or during) for all levels! :)

Yea.. I'd like to do it on that level range. Some challenge adds lots of fun. But I'm up for another run with higher lvls.

I'll try to get up to speed so i can join. I think i'm 34/35 right now and I'm on that quest chain right now in Evendim. I could either dps or try my hand at healing unless someone else is going to do it.

Hey everyone!

During the chicken run today, the idea came up for a kin run for the deed "Ridge Racer". I'm up for it. Perhaps we can get this going sometime?

I love it, Froda! When would work best for you? A Tuesday or Wednesday evening?
